Where We Reveal Our Startling Knowledge of Quantum Physics

This will be forever be known as the "episode" where I trick El into thinking we are not recording! I really thought I said, "I couldn't get it to work...that's why it took so long." Whoops.

[Giggles]

No, seriously, that's illegal in most states and isn't a laughing matter.

Ahem.

Of course, El just proved that she is exactly the same whether she knows she's being recorded or not. Y'all can go ahead and thank me for that.

You're awesome, El. I'd duke it out with Mandy but she's younger and sprier than I am;) Oh, and I think all of our theories are right on.

P.S. And yes, that is the tail end of me growling up over the loft railing, "If you're not going to say nice things then just BE QUIET!" at the beginning of the call. I might have moved the phone out of the way if I'd known the recording had started. ;)

It's true, I totally thought we weren't taping for over half the call. Oh well. It's really nice how I'm yawning through the entire thing. But I do actually think that two Sawyers could never be a bad thing, especially if one of them was going to come hang out with me instead of Juliet or Kate.

My favorite part of the whole call, though, is the serenade I received. Love it. =)

And I don't think Sarah is capable of growling, actually. She's way too sweet.

Take 1

Welcome to our show! This is where we will give you that extra look into our real lives and completely obliterate any thoughts that we are supermoms (right, El). Actually, El is mad at me because I was entertaining my kids during our first taping. And really, as sure as I was that they would completely hit the roof (because they almost always do), they did manage to hide their maniacal tendencies...for the most part. So next time, no crafts. I didn't mean to cheat, I promise! But don't be misled by the echoing of the hardwood floors at El's house, some of that screaming does belong to mine. Oh, and I don't know why God decided to be so kind to me today, but ten minutes after hanging up they were barreling off of the top bunk screaming, "We love God! YEAH!!!"

~Sarah

Sarah's kids were perfect angels during our call while mine were whirling dervishes who kept bouncing off me and the walls. It wasn't pretty, but it was oh so real. This is why I text instead of talk, people. THIS IS WHY! My kids see a telephone and they are drawn like moths to a flame, doing their best to drive me batty. It's a talent they have.

- El

Ha! Just wait til next time, El. I'll hold to our bargain and you'll see why we do so many crafts around here;)

~Sarah
